Men's and women's cross country compete at the Brewton-Parker Invitational

Mount Vernon, Ga. - Sophomore Madeleine Lepley (22:30.3) led the women's cross country team with a third place finish at the Brewton-Parker Invitational held Friday, Sept. 22. This was the second meet of the season for Emory Oxford.

Teammate freshman Noemi Felipe was the only other female runner for the Eagles, and she finished with a time of 30:29.4.

On the men's side, freshman Oliver Campbell finished in seventh place with a time of 29:20.9. Classmate Joseph Woloszyn finished just outside of the top 15 with a time of 31:14.6.

Emory Oxford's other two runners were freshmen Misha Filippovsky (34:59.9) and Fletcher Martin (37:49.4).

Neither team had the required number of runners to score as a team.

Both teams will be back in action Saturday, Sept. 30 at the Alexander ASICS Invitational in Fairburn, Georgia.
