Men's and women's cross country compete at UAH Invitational

Huntsville, AL - The Emory Oxford men's and women's cross country teams competed in a field of hundreds of runners at the University of Alabama-Huntsville Charger Invitational held at John Hunt Cross Country Park.

Sophomore Madeleine Lepley, the lone runner for the women's team, ran her season's best with a time of 21:38.30.

For the men, freshman Oliver Campbell led the way for the Eagles with a finish of 27:16.6. Sophomore Virat Vishwanadhula ran his best time for the season with a time of 27:25.2. Also competing for Emory Oxford was sophomore Timothy Park (27:42.2), freshman Joseph Woloszyn (29:48.9) and freshman Fletcher Martin (37:39.5).

The two teams will race again on Saturday, Oct. 14 at the Upstate Invitational in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
