CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers
The CHL is excited to offer American Red Cross safety courses this semester! We have several classes available for professional rescuers in CPR/AED. Register now before spots fill up!
Dates:
- Session 1 - October 8 (3:00pm-8:00pm)
- Session 2 - November 5 (3:00pm-8:00pm)
- Session 3 - December 3 (3:00pm-8:00pm)
Lifeguarding (Including Deep Water) with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid
This 3-day course is designed for those who want to become a certified lifeguard or for students who seek employment as a lifeguard for Oxford College. There is a prerequisite swimming skills test that must be passed to take part in the course, however accomodations can be made.
Dates:
- Session 1 - October 31 through November 2 (must attend all dates/times)
- Friday, October 31 (5:00pm-9:00pm)
- Saturday, November 1 (12:00pm-9:00pm)
- Sunday, November 2 (12:00pm-9:00pm)
Wilderness and Remote First Aid
This 2-day course is designed for those who want to enhance their knowledge and training to handle emergencies in remote areas or delayed-help settings. A prerequisite CPR certification is required to take part in this course, however accomodations can be made.
Dates:
- Session 1 - November 15 through November 16 (must attend all dates/times)
- Saturday, November 15 (10:00am-6:00pm)
- Sunday, November 16 (10:00am-6:00pm)
Payments and Refunds
Each safety course must be paid for in full before the start of the course.
You must cancel via email at least 24 hours before the start of the course to receive a full refund. In the event that a course is canceled, a full refund will be issued.
