Men's soccer drops close game to MAYSA Storm

Oxford, Ga. - The Emory Oxford men's soccer team lost a 1-0 close game to visiting MAYSA Storm U18 Boys-GPLA.

MAYSA scored with ten minutes remaining in the half. The Eagles fought hard for the entire game, ending with 15 shots on goal.

One of Emory Oxford's best chances to tie the game came with about 21 minutes left in the game. First-year Eli Willingham had a penalty kick for the Eagles, but the goalie made the save to keep the score 1-0.

Sophomore goalie Chris Do made two saves. First-year Zachary Seneriz led the team with six shots. Willingham had four shots for the Eagles.

Emory Oxford will next play at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18 against Andrew College for Sophomore Night. The sophomores will be honored at halftime.
