Oxford, GA - The Emory Oxford men's basketball team fell the Wolverines of New Rock Prep Sports Academy 97-80. The Eagles have lost their second-straight game and drop to 3-7 for the season.
The Eagles had 4 players in double figures and were led by freshman Shane McCravy who scored 26 points on 10-of-16 attempts. Sophomore Aaron Gerber scored 16 points, while shooting 4-of-8 from three. Freshman Arturo Varela had a productive night scoring 11 points, grabbing 6 boards, and dishing out a team-high 6 assists. Fellow freshman Thomas Powell scored 14 points and grabbed a team-high 7 rebounds.
"We're a little depleted having two of our key guys out with injuries, but we still have to find a way to get it done," commented Roderick Stubbs, Head Coach.
The Eagles will return to action tomorrow (Dec. 7th) against Southern Basktball Academy. Tipoff is set for 4:00PM.
