Men's basketball falls 71-62 to Southern Crescent Tech

The Emory Oxford men's basketball team lost a close game on the road to Southern Crescent Technical College by a score of 71-62.

Both teams played evenly to start out the game. While the Eagles found themselves down by 17 points midway through the first half, they climbed back to end the half at 37-28. 

Freshman Daniel Shin led both teams in scoring with 20 points. He also had four rebounds and three assists. Sophomore Zuri Greene had his fifth consecutive double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Classmate Anthony Vargas had his first double-double of the season with 10 points and 12 rebounds. Sophomore Josh Kim scored 14 points for the Eagles.

Emory Oxford will next travel to face the Oglethorpe University Reserve Squad at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15.
