Oxford, Ga. - The Emory Oxford men's basketball team fell to visiting Camp Community College in the team's first conference game of the season. The final score was 77-69.
Camp Community College led most of the game, with the Eagles leading by a couple of points for only a few minutes.
First-year Leo Etah had another impressive game, scoring a career-high 28 points, including five three-pointers. He hit one as time was expiring in the first half to bring the Eagles within three points of the Hurricanes. In addition, Etah had six rebounds.
First-year Ved Desai had a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. First-year Jason Kim had six assists.
The Eagles are now 3-4 on the season and 0-1 in the conference.
Emory Oxford plays at home on Monday, Nov. 25 against West Academy. Game time is 7 p.m.
