
Four Emory Oxford men's basketball players have been named as Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association All-Region XVII Men's DIII Basketball members.
First-years Leo Etah and Ved Desai were named to the first team. Etah played in all 28 games and led the team with 21.6 points per game and 604 total for the season. He also had 9.5 rebounds per game and 2.6 assists per game. As of Feb. 27 In the NJCAA, Etah was second in field goals made (239), second in points, third in minutes played (981), 11th in offensive rebounds and 12th in points per game.
Desai played in every game this season and was second on the team with 484 total points. He averaged 17.3 points and 10.5 rebounds per game. Desai also had 38 blocks this season. He was fourth in the NJCAA in defensive rebounds with 221, eighth in total rebounds (293) and 16th in rebounds per game.
First-years Jason Kim and Adeniyi Ogunlana were named to the second team. Kim played in 27 games this season. He scored 289 points and led the team with 130 assists and 61 steals. Kim averaged 10.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game. In the NJCAA, he was 14th in assists.
Ogunlana played in 21 games and was fourth on the team in points with 220. He averaged 10.5 points, 7.2 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. Ogunlana shot a team best 77.3% from the free throw line.
