Men's soccer falls to Enterprise State 5-1

Enterprise, Ala. - The Emory Oxford men's soccer team lost its first game of the season 5-1 against Enterprise State Community College.

Enterprise State jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead within the first 15 minutes of the game. The home team scored two more before the Eagles got on the board 34 minutes into the first game. Freshman Arjun Pant scored his first collegiate goal with an assist from freshman Zach Seneriz. Enterprise State added another goal before the end of the game.

Emory Oxford had 15 shots on goal, including five from Seneriz and four from sophomore Denis Tahirovic.Sophomore goalie Chris Do made six saves.

The Eagles are 0-1 this season, while Enterprise State is 1-3-1.

Emory Oxford next plays Southwest Mississippi Community College in Birmingham, Alabama on Monday, Sept. 2. Kickoff is at 4 p.m.
