Oxford, Ga. - The Emory Oxford men's soccer team tied with visiting Enterprise State Community College 1-1.
Both teams played physically throughout the game and ended the half scoreless. Enterprise State was able to break the tie midway through the second half.
The Eagles answered seven minutes later off of a goal by first-year Zach Seneriz. Seneriz kicked the ball toward the goal and the ball deflected off of a Boll Weevil defender and went in. Sophomore Evan Crozier assisted on the goal.
Sophomore goalie Chris Do made two saves during the game. He also stopped several attempts away from the goal to prevent the Boll Weevils from getting a shot on goal.
Emory Oxford is now 3-6-2 on the season.
The Eagles next play the tough Pellissippi State at home on Thursday, Oct. 10. Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m.
