Cross country competes at Nooga at Night

Chattanooga, Tenn. - The Emory Oxford cross country teams competed at the Nooga at Night Invite hosted by Dalton State College.

Sophomore Oliver Campbell finished in the top 20 out of almost 80 runners for the Eagles with a time of 15:58.0. Sophomore Joseph Woloszyn finished next for Emory Oxford with a time of 17:07.3. First-year Sam Birkner (19:26.2) and Liam McDonald (21:23.1) also competed for the Eagles.

For the women, sophomore Peri Rhoads finished first for the Eagles and 27th overall with a time of 20:45.8. Sophomore Ania Ting finished 42nd with a time of 21:46.7. Next for Emory Oxford was sophomore Riley Collis at 22:45.2. Sophomore Lauren Grove (23:30.4) and first-year Christina Tsarampari (25:05.8) also competed for Emory Oxford.

The Eagles next competed at the USC Upstate Invite in Spartanburg, South Carolina, at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19.
