
Several members on the men's and women's cross country teams were named to the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association's All-Region team.
Sophomore Oliver Campbell was named GCAA Runner of the Year, along with being named to the All-Region team. He finished with a time of 28:37.95 at regionals. This is his second-straight year being named to the All-Region team.
Sophomore teammates Joseph Woloszyn and Paul Goblirsch were named to the All-Region team for the first time. Woloszyn finished third overall with a time of 30:56.54. Goblirsch was tenth (35:17.74).
Ella O'Kelley was named Coach of the Year for the men's team, after the Eagles finished first in the conference.
For the women, sophomore Ania Ting was named Runner of the Year, in addition to being named to the All-Region team. Her time for the regional championship was 22:35.98. Sophomores Peri Rhoads (24:13.86) and Riley Collis (24:20.71) were also named to the All-Region team. Rhoads finished eighth, while Collis finished ninth. All three were named to the All-Region team for the first time.
The two teams will head to Richmond, Virginia, for the NJCAA Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Nov. 9.
