Men's cross country finishes season at nationals

Richmond, Va. - The Emory Oxford men's cross country team competed at the NJCAA Division III Cross Country Championships, held at Pole Green Park.

Sophomore Oliver Campbell, who was named Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association Runner of the Year in October, ran well at nationals, finishing 16th out of 134 runners. He finished with a time of 27:45.6, narrowly missing out on being named an All-American. 

Sophomore Joseph Woloszyn was second for the Eagles and 44th overall with a time of 29:37.2. Sophomores Paul Goblirsch (34:13.2) and Fletcher Martin (34:38.2) competed in their second nationals for the Eagles, along with Campbell and Woloszyn. First-year Sam Birkner (34:42.7) finished close behind Martin in his first trip to nationals.

Sophomore Liam McDonald (36:06.3) also ran for the Eagles.
