Eagles Women Picked Up First Win of the Season as They Dominate Andrew College 8 to 0

The Emory Oxford College women's soccer team played a nearly flawless game on Saturday afternoon as they dominated from start to finish against Andrew College in an 8-0 win. The Eagles pick up their first win of the season.

"It felt really good to play well and pick up our first win of the season," stated Head Coach Ashlynne Bass.

The Eagles had 6 players score a goal and attempted over 30 shots as Andrew College attempted only 4 shots for the game. Oxford dominated possession and took a 3 to 0 lead into halftime.

Grace Trent and Sarah Speed both scored two goals as Maria Shaw, Isabella Garcia, Helena Bergman, and Hanna Florence each contributed one goal.

The Eagles are back in action on Monday night at home Sept. 11 versus conference foe Georgia Military College.  Game time is set up 6:30pm.
