Women's cross country competes at nationals

Richmond, Va. - The Emory Oxford women's cross country team competed at the NJCAA Division III Cross Country Championships, held at Pole Green Park.

This year, every runner on the women's team ran at nationals for the first time. The fastest runner for the Eagles this year was sophomore Ania Ting, who was named Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association Runner of the Year in October. She finished 23rd overall out of nearly 100 runners with a time of 21:30.6. Sophomore Peri Rhoads finished less than a minute later with a time of 22:22.0. She finished 38th overall.

Sophomores Riley Collis (23:26.2) and Lauren Grove (24:34.1) also ran for Emory Oxford.
